Literature Text

snow wisps albino borealis
on the black sky pavement
flakes fall like stars
the season's first painted
constellations

rain drops pastel amplification
on the thawed out ground
petals emerge
the season's first breath
of life

sun rays heat intensification
on grass vibrantly green
insects dance
the season's first blissful
celebration

leaves color in metamorphosis
on the branches of the oaks
slowly tumble
the season's first hint
of change
Edit: Okay... I've expanded this poem in hopes of using it in an upcoming book project, but I am in desperate need of feedback before I do so.

A better title will hopefully be coming soon as well.

THOUGHTS!?

---

Inspired while driving down the highway during the first snowstorm of the season.

I stared at this one for a long time. The first five lines came to me very quickly, and I couldn't decide if I wanted to write more. Nothing came to mind that satisfied me, so I decided to leave it. Maybe soon there will be more.

Wow, I just stumbled upon this, and it is great! The words just spoke to me. I think I will be looking at your other stuff, and if it is as good as this, this could become one of my favorite pages. (It was so good, I had to make an account just to say this!)
